Photographer Pedro Guimarães shoot the cover article for National Geographic Magazine (Portugal) September issue. The "50th Anniversary of the Capelinhos Eruption" is featured along 18pages of azorean Faial and Pico islands landscapes, portraits of people who witnessed the natural phenomenae and scientific documentary. Congratulations to Pedro for his publication on a rare cover article made by portuguese authors for the magazine.

Serra da Estrela is the highest mountain of Portugal and the only sky resort in the country during the winter, but in summer time all these changes and Serra da Estrela becomes almost a desert with animals and rocks where there should be snow.
