"FADOS NOSSOS" BOOK

"Fados Nossos" is the latest book from photographer Jorge Simao. An actual look at Fado's world and its leading figures. A work that shows the young promising singers and musicians and the masters of the portuguese national song. A book that underlines the unvaluable cultural heritage Fado represents.
Most of the pictures of the book are also available in our archive.

FNAC EXHIBITION

If you live in Lisbon or you are just passing you can attend Marco Pereira and Sara Wong's exhibition at Fnac Colombo until 15th March. “ Folia do Divino” depicts the Divine Holy Spirit Feast, held ever year, 50 days after Easter in the brazilian town of Pirenopolis. The town and surrounding countryside are ran by hordes of horsemen and euphoric “mascarados” and invaded by thousands of attendants from all over the country, conquered by the colorful splendor of the Folia do Divino (Divine spree) and of the local Cavalhadas, a peculiar reconstitution of the medieval crusades. If you can't visit the exhibition this feature is also available in our archive.

Our beloved Lisbon is getting more and more people visiting it. Taking the risk of beeing very suspicious to the foreigner, we can say that we live in one of the most beautiful places in Europe! So, following this idea, we decided to create a group of pictures about Lisbon in our archive to join the feature that Marco and Sara did about its trendy neighborhoods. Enjoy!
